College Council
Traralgon College School Council is the school’s governing body and has a membership of Parents, Department of Education and Training Employees, the College Principal, School Captains and an optional Community member. Membership is generally for a two year term, with vacancies rolling over each year.
All government schools in Victoria have a school council. They are legally constituted bodies that are given powers to set the key directions of a school within state wide guidelines, and is then able to directly influence the quality of education that the school provides for its students.
The School Council meets on Thursday evening at 6:00pm on the Grey Street Campus, twice a term. Elections are held in term 1 each year, if you are interested in being a member of council please contact the Grey Street campus office.
