Traralgon College

Traralgon College is a vibrant and stimulating learning environment for students in Year 7 to Year 12. Our teachers are passionate and committed professionals, dedicated to delivering engaging, meaningful and relevant learning opportunities for all students. Students at our school benefit from a curriculum focused on learning the essential knowledge, skills and dispositions required to be successful in the 21st Century.

At Traralgon College we value learning and achievement for all through:

  • Respect for self, others and our environment.
  • Responsibility to strive for success.
  • Resilience to take on new challenges.

Our purpose is to use the principles of School Wide Positive Behaviour Support to explicitly teach, acknowledge and reward defined expected behaviours to assist the students to grow together as adaptable, confident, successful learners and citizens.

Traralgon College implements an Instructional Model based on Douglas Fisher and Nancy Frey’s Framework for the Gradual Release of Responsibility. Click on the link for a visual representation of how students will cycle through this instructional model in all classes.
